Sold comics later through St Marks in the East Village, NYC. Got invited to contribute to Nozone late eighties through nineties. You'd be interested in Hodags and Hodaddies, early home of Michael Kupperman amongst others. All were roduced and edited by Kevin Pyle and Geoff Reineke excepting last issue which was published by Danny Hellman.Bruxisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03108060146459829471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387594988197364253.post-14383674551677802302009-11-19T10:24:28.092-08:002009-11-19T10:24:28.092-08:00I tried to e-mail you, but the link provided on yo...I tried to e-mail you, but the link provided on your profile seems not to work, so . . .

Dear Russell,

Are you, by chance, the same Russell Christian that published a comic entitled “Fred Herring” back in the ‘80s? The reason I ask is because I’m a longtime collector of alternative comics and have been working on a reference guide to them. As such, I’m trying to acquire copies of some of the more obscure publications that have evaded me. As such, if you have any spare copies of Fred Herring #1-6 that you would be willing to sell to me, it would mean a great deal.

On a side note, I just noticed that your blog says you live in South Orange, NJ. My mind is now officially blown. As fate would have it, I grew up in South Orange (on Prospect Street, near Our Lady of Sorrows), having spent the first 20, or so, years of my life there. This really is quite bizarre!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,
Victor
vwlssknght @ hotmail.com (added spaces so as to prevent spam)Victor H.
